PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type image display device and a projection type image display system capable of achieving the simplification of installation and adjustment of equipment, and efficient application even when it is small-scale projection. SOLUTION: By using a projector device 10 where an optical part 100 is offset so that a video projected to a projection surface 20A may be appropriate for a screen 20 provided to be inclined, the video free from distortion is easily projected to the screen 20 simply provided on a desk or the like. Since the projection surface 20A is constituted to have screen gain, excellent visibility is obtained even in the projector device whose luminance is low in comparison with the large-sized projector device.
