PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time and effort for assembling a double row rolling bearing having a rotary sensor provided with a pre-load imparting means by reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: A magnetic encoder 11 constituting the rotary sensor is integrally incorporated into the outer diameter face of an annular pressing member 8 for imparting a pre-load by reducing an axial gap 7 between inner rings 3a, 3b being a rotating ring divided into two parts. A sensor element 14 for detecting a change in magnetic pole accompanied by the rotation of the magnetic encoder 11 is mounted at the side of an outer ring 1 being a fixed ring while facing the magnetic encoder 11. Consequently, it is possible to obtain the double row rolling bearing which has the rotary sensor provided with the pre-load imparting means and keeps the number of components reduced so as to reduce a time and effort for assembling it while eliminating a support member for mounting the magnetic encoder 11 and a time and effort for mounting the magnetic encoder 11.
