FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD OF PRIME MOVER EQUIPPED WITH THE FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device capable of maintaining an output value of a prime mover at a substantially constant level by supplying DME within a predetermined temperature range to the prime mover such as an engine. SOLUTION: The fuel supply device 1 is provided with a storage tank 3 for storing DME; a pump 7 for feeding DME to the engine 5 which is a prime mover; a supply means 9 such as piping for supplying DME discharged from the pump 7 to the engine 5; a temperature adjusting means 11 provided in any portion of the supply means 9 and controlling a DME temperature to predetermined one; a temperature measuring means 13 for measuring the temperature of DME before it is supplied to the engine 5; and a temperature control means 19 for supplying DME to either a heating heat exchanger 15 or a cooling heat exchanger 17 based on the DME temperature before supply measured by the temperature measuring means 13.
