A support plate (31) forms an outward sealing cover for an opening (11) leading towards the interior (12) of a controllable unit's casing (10). Actuators/sensors (26) are accessible from outside through this opening, through which protrudes a plug connector (37) for causing an electronic add-on controller (30) to make electric contact with actuators/sensors fitted on the controllable unit.
