PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual information display system and a manual information display apparatus in which the manual information of an electronic apparatus can easily be read without requiring labor and time for arranging and storing the instruction manual of the electronic apparatus and searching the stored instruction manual.

SOLUTION: The manual information display system comprises: a host computer 2 capable of storing manual information and transmitting the manual information through a communication network 71; a name plate 31 for displaying a two-dimensional code obtained by coding an address to be connected to the manual information; and a portable telephone set 51 for photographing the two-dimensional code of the name plate 31, connecting the manual information through the communication network 71 and receiving and displaying the manual information to easily read the manual information of the electronic apparatus.
