<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which stress concentration of a gasket portion located at the bending part or inside of the intersection of the gasket can be attenuated, when a load in the lamination direction of cells is applied on the gasket. <P>SOLUTION: The gasket 32 of the fuel cell has a cross-sectional shape having a plate part and a projection part protruding from the plate part and has a surface shape having an intersection part and a corner part orthogonal to the cross-section, and the gasket 32 is in non-adhesion with a plate member 18 of the fuel cell at least at only one of the portion of the intersection part and the corner part.
