<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus and a system which can perform personal authentication without making a measured person feel operation for the personal authentication. <P>SOLUTION: The top of a main body 20 of a scale 10 is equipped with a foot rest 21, and a portion in the foot rest 21, where toes of a measured person are located, is equipped with a fingerprint sensor 22.
