PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an inkjet head in size and surely prevent ink from flowing there-into from outside. SOLUTION: In the inkjet head 1, two side covers 53 extend in the vertical direction and in the longitudinal direction of a passage unit 4, and a projecting part 53b formed in the lower part of the side covers is engaged with a groove 4a formed on the upper surface of the passage unit 4, allowing an outer edge linear portion 53a to be abutted on the upper surface of the passage unit 4. The outer edge linear portion is arranged at an interval shorter than the length of the passage unit 4 with regard to the width direction of the passage unit 4. Between the two side covers 53, a reserver unit 71, an actuator unit 21 and a COF 50 loading a driver IC 52 and a substrate 54 are arranged. A sealing material 56 is coated on the outside of the abutting portion between the passage unit 4 and the side covers 53, filling the gap therebetween. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
