IMPROVED CUTTING TOOL AND METHOD FOR SHAPING SURFBOARDS AND COMPOUND CURVED SURFACES

A cutting tool is provided with cutting inserts or abrasive grit to form cutting shapes on the outer periphery, the top periphery, the bottom periphery and the inner bottom periphery of the tool. The cutter is then orientated so that the cutting shape closely matches to a desired compound curved surface that is to be machined or shaped by moving the cutter on a programmed path over the surface.
