<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fuel efficiency of a car which transfers the power of an internal combustion engine with sliding and outputs the power for running from a motor by using generated electric power from the power of the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: When a lock-up clutch of a torque converter is turned OFF, if a difference ΔN between the number of revolutions Ne of an engine and the number of revolutions Nin of an input shaft of a CVT is not less than a threshold N1 (S160), a torque command Tg* of an alternator is set so that the difference ΔN becomes the threshold N1 to control the alternator, and drive-controls a motor so as to consume the generated electric power generated from the alternator (S190-S210). Thereby, the engine can be operated at an operation point on a low-rotation and high-torque side, convert the required power P* outputted from the engine into the torque equivalent to the required torque Td* as a whole to output it to the front wheels and the rear wheels, thereby improving the fuel efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
