PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter which can electrically connect a circuit unit with mounting parts surely and easily. SOLUTION: The DC-DC converter 1 is equipped with a coil 7, a pot-type ferrite core 11, a cover-shaped ferrite core 21, an external electrode 23, and a control IC 5. The pot-type ferrite core 11 has a bottom wall 13, a peripheral wall 15, and a pillar-shaped part 17. The external electrode 23 is made over the rear 13b of the face 13a opposed to the coil 7 of the bottom 13 and the outer flank 15a and the end face 15b of the peripheral wall 15. A control IC board 5 is physically and electrically connected with the electrode part 23b of an external electrode 23 which is made at the rear 13b, being counterposed to the rear 13b of the face 13a opposed to the coil 7 of the bottom 13. The end face of the coil 7 is drawn out of the pot-type ferrite core 11 through a cut 20 made at the peripheral wall 15, and is electrically connected with the external electrode 23.
