PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide charging equipment with ease of handling, capable of surely coping with user's demands each time. SOLUTION: The charging equipment has a first charging mode which switches constant current charging to constant voltage charging when a voltage of one battery cell 1 increases up to a first threshold voltage V1, and stops charging when the current decreases down to a first threshold current I2 under a state of the constant voltage charging; and a second charging mode which switches the constant current charging to the constant voltage charging, when both end voltages increase up to a second threshold voltage V2 lower than the voltage obtained by multiplying the first threshold voltage V1 by the number of the battery cells 1, or when the voltage of one battery cell 1 increases up to the first threshold voltage V1, and stops charging when the current decreases down to the first threshold current I2 under a state of the constant voltage charging.
