PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin brushless motor with a whirl-stop feature. SOLUTION: A ceiling through-hole 73a is created on the ceiling 73 of a rotor holder 70 and a ceiling concave 73b is created on the lower surface of the ceiling through-hole 73a. A lower surface projection 103 is created at a location corresponding to the ceiling through-hole 73a of the lower surface of a gear 100 mounted on the upper surface of the ceiling 73. The lower edge of this lower surface projection 103 is thermally melted, resulting in the creation of an expanded portion 103a for accommodation in the ceiling concave 73b. In this way, it becomes possible to regulate the movement of the gear 100 in circumferential and axis directions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
