<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for transmitting RA, RS messages through an AP. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method of computing an interval of message transmission in an AP located in a specific subnet, including determining whether the AP is an edge AP located at a boundary between the specific subnet and a neighboring subnet, and computing an interval of transmission of a router advertisement (RA) message containing information, regarding the specific subnet based on the determination result.
