PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a durability of a spring piece constructing a metal shell of a connector. SOLUTION: The spring piece 32 extends from a tip side of a board portion 30 in the insertion direction toward a housing 2 side, extends toward the back end side in the insertion direction, and projects toward the side opposite to the housing 2 of the board portion 30 through a through hole 31 while inclining toward the board portion 30 and extending toward the back end side in the insertion direction, and further slightly extends toward the back end side in the insertion direction while inclining toward the board portion 30. A first part 300 extends from the tip side in the insertion direction of the board portion 30, and is bent from the board portion 30 to the housing 2 side and extends toward the back end side in the insertion direction. A second part 301 extends from the other end 304 of the first part 300 toward the back end side in the insertion direction, is extendedly provided while inclining toward the board portion 30 side, intersects the board portion 30 in a through hole 31 and projects toward the side opposite to the housing 2.
