PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform remote copy of difference data of snapshots adequately. SOLUTION: The NAS system is provided with: one or more file systems which store data; a snapshot producing means which produces snapshots of the file systems based on snapshot acquisition time scheduled beforehand; a remote copy means which copies remotely difference data of snapshot based on remote copy starting time scheduled beforehand; and a scheduling means which performs re-scheduling of one or more time points in either among the Nth snapshot acquisition time point, the Nth remote copy starting time point, or the (N+1)th remote copy starting time point so that the remote copy which starts at the Nth remote copy starting time point ends until the (N+1)th remote copy starting time point.
