PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source apparatus having uniform optical power distribution, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The light source apparatus 1 is composed of: N pieces of light emitting elements S<SB>1</SB>-S<SB>N</SB>; N pieces of condensing lenses L<SB>1</SB>-L<SB>N</SB>that are installed for each the N pieces of the light emitting elements S<SB>1</SB>-S<SB>N</SB>and that converge light output from the light emitting elements; N pieces of optical fibers F<SB>1</SB>-F<SB>N</SB>that guide the light output from the N pieces of light emitting elements S<SB>1</SB>-S<SB>N</SB>to output it from an exit end; and a waveguide body arranged at the exit end of the optical fibers F<SB>1</SB>-F<SB>N</SB>. The waveguide body 10 has an opening 101 installed in a core part 103 on the connecting side with the optical fibers F<SB>1</SB>-F<SB>19</SB>. In the opening 101, the optical fibers F<SB>1</SB>-F<SB>19</SB>are closely arranged in a zigzag, and received inside the opening 101 while being abutted on the end face of the core part 103 in the waveguide body 10.
