PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and a rotational apparatus of a display having a swivel hinge. SOLUTION: The display-rotational apparatus includes a stand 31, a swivel hinge 45 having one end fixed to the stand and configured to rotate relatively when torque of at least a predetermined value is applied, a motor 43 joined to the other end of the swivel hinge by a shaft and having a reduction gear, and a guide 39 configured to rotate as a single body with the motor and joined to a display. The restrictive torque of the swivel hinge is smaller than the force of the constraint of the reduction gear, and greater than the load of the display. Thus, in the case that the display is rotated passively, the rotor of the motor and the reduction gear are prevented from being damaged. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
