PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame member of a Fusuma capable of preventing the frame having a U-shaped cross section from being widened and having no warp and strain as well as high strength at a low cost. SOLUTION: The frame of the Fusuma is constituted so that a fitting groove 4 can be formed in a side member 6 of the frame member from the inside bottom side to charge a tabular core material 3, and even if the frame member 2 is thereby swelled, the side member 6 is fallen inside of the frame member 2, and the side member 6 of the frame member 2 can not be opened to the outside to look nice. The core material 3 can be held in a U-shaped inside part of the frame member 2 without using any adhesive by fitting the core material 3 in the fitting groove 4, and working efficiency can be improved.
