PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deckle which is used for restricting the width and moves smoothly, a deckle shaft, and a die equipped with them in which the deckle is replaced with a low load with production yield increased. SOLUTION: The deckle is to be used in a die having a manifold and a slit composed by an upper and a lower molds and comprises two sheets which have thickness continuously changed in the width direction from one end part to the other end part and which are overlapped in a manner that the thickness alteration directions are reversed each other to enable them to slide. The deckle is held by a deckle shaft comprising at least two sliding bars set face to face and is moved in the width directions. Each of the two bars composing the deckle has a diameter changed continuously from one end part to the other end part and the bars are combined in a manner that the alteration directions are set inversely each other.
