PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer which enables a control of an orbital velocity and a rotational velocity independently by separate motors without increasing an inertia force in a mixing vessel revolution. SOLUTION: The mixer comprises a rotatable rotary substrate 7 rotatable around a vertical revolution shaft 5, a container holder 9 attached rotatably to the rotary substrate 7 rotatable around an inclined rotary shaft 10 and holding the mixing vessel 11 which incorporates a material to be mixed, a revolution motor 15 and a rotation motor 16 allowing the rotary substrate 7 and the container holder 9 to revolve and rotate on its axis, a revolution type transmission mechanism 18 which transmits a torque of the revolution motor 15 to the rotary substrate 7, and a rotation type transmission mechanism 19 which transmits a torque of the rotation motor 16 to the container holder 9.
