摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the image quality of three-dimensional display images when tomographic images obtained by the conventional scan or the like of an X-ray CT apparatus having the two-dimensional X-ray area detector of a matrix structure represented by a multi-row X-ray detector or a flat panel X-ray detector are arranged in a z direction which is a photographing table advancing direction and the tomographic images are displayed three-dimensionally as continuous tomographic images. SOLUTION: In three-dimensional image display obtained by the conventional scan, cine scan or helical scan of the X-ray CT apparatus having the two-dimensional X-ray area detector of the matrix structure represented by the multi-row X-ray detector or the flat panel X-ray detector, in MPR (Multi Plane Reformat) display, adaptive image filtering is applied in a direction vertical to an MPR display image plane or in a direction which is not parallel thereto to improve the images.
