USE OF STILBENE DERIVATIVES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MEDICAMENTS FOR THE TREATMENT OF SOLID TUMOURS

The invention relates to the use of stilbene derivatives of general formula (I), for the production of medicaments for the treatment of solid tumours, such as melanomas, or stomach cancers. In addition to the anti-tumour activity of the single substance, furthermore, acceptable results can be achieved by means of the combination dosing of a DNA-intercalating substance such as dacarbazine with stilbene derivatives of formula (I).
