<p>Compositions and methods for treatment of dermal scarring and wrinkling, by application to the skin of a cosmetically effective amount of plantain (Plantago major). The plantain may be utilized in powdered form in an aqueous paste or poultice that is applied to the skin for various periods of time from 1 to 10 hours at a frequency of 1-12 times per week, for a period of 3-50 weeks or more. The composition is effective to remediate dermal scarring and wrinkling, and at least partially restore skin to an undamaged, undeteriorated state.</p> |
