The farm machine has processing devices (8,9) for harvest, seeds, and soil cultivation. A soil-processing device (11) is provided for a contact-free detection of impurity in the harvest or contour, where a bottom section is provided in front or behind the processing device. A control device (14) controls the processing device by a signal of the soil-processing device. The soil-processing device has an acoustic scanning sensor (12), which is operated in an audible frequency spectrum. The sensor scans the bottom section with acoustic signals in a frequency range of 20 Hertz to 8 Kilohertz.
