An explosive grenade (12) for defending against an approaching KE penetrator (10) has a number of individual charges (L1, L2, ...) which are connected to associated igniting devices (Z1, Z2, ...) for ignition staggered in time. The individual charges (L1, L2, ...) are dimensioned in such a way that their pressure wave (18) acting on the tail unit (16) of the penetrator (10) to be combated causes the penetrator (10) to be deflected (20). The same effect, that is to say deflection of the KE penetrator (10), can be achieved if the explosive grenade (12) has an explosive charge which reacts with a deflagration effect and which acts on the tail unit (16) of the penetrator (10) to be combated. |
