RECOMBINANT ADENOVIRUSES CAPABLE OF REGULATING ANGIOGENESIS

A recombinant adenovirus is provided to maximize the oncolytic activity by effectively inhibiting angiogenesis, and prevent necrosis of tissue and provide normal function thereto by supplying enough oxygen and nutritive material to heart or ischemic tissue of extremities. The recombinant adenovirus for regulating angiogenesis comprises an inverted terminal repeat(ITR) nucleotide sequence of adenovirus and an expression control sequence including a nucleotide sequence coding a DNA binding domain having a zinc finger domain capable of being linked to a portion of sequence 1-2362 of SEQ ID : NO. 1, a promoter sequence of a vascular endothelial growth factor-A(VEGF-A) gene, and a nucleotide sequence coding a transcription activation domain or a transcription inhibition domain linked to the DNA binding domain. The pharmaceutical composition for treating and preventing angiogenesis-related diseases comprises a therapeutically effective amount of the recombinant adenovirus and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
