[Also in Division F2] In order to mount an index mechanism 20, and hence the switch, at different angular positions relative to a fixed mounting plate 18, a locating stud 36 on the fixed part of the index mechanism is inserted in a preselected one of a plurality of notches 61 equiangularly spaced around the outer periphery of an annular adapter member 60 mounted on a boss 35 of the index mechanism 20, and a locating member 62 integral with member 60 is inserted in an opening 17 in plate 18. An annular rib 51 on mechanism 20 bears against member 60, and teeth 63 struck out of member 60 bear against plate 18. |
