A backlight unit and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) including the same are provided to improve productivity of a product and reliability of quality by forming a plurality of grooves to which a predetermined automation assembly jig is detachably coupled for assembly of a backlight unit in a lower chassis. A plurality of grooves are formed in a lower chassis(90), and a predetermined automation assembly jig for assembly of a backlight unit(30) is detachably coupled to the plurality of grooves. A reflective plate(80) is stacked under a light source(70), and reflects light generated from the light source. A position determining portion is formed in the lower chassis and the reflective plate at positions facing each other to determine an assembly position of the reflective plate. |
