A setting information initialization method of a mobile communication terminal by using OTA(Over The Air) data and the mobile communication terminal for performing the method are provided to conduct initialization by reflecting OTA data received from an OTA server, if an initialization request for setting information of the terminal is received from a user. Setting information of a mobile communication terminal is received from a server(S210). The received setting information of the terminal is stored in a DB(S220-S250). Initialization for the setting information of the terminal is requested(S260). If the initialization for the setting information of the terminal is requested, setting information set by a user is deleted from the setting information stored in the DB, and setting information received from the server is restored(S270,S280). |
