Method and apparatus for filling moulding tools with polymer foam plastic particles

The forming tools filling involves supplying polymer foam plastic particles with a feed gas of a filling device. The polymer foam plastic particles are heated with in the filling device such that it has a temperature while leaving the filling device. These polymer foam plastic particles mixed and warmed in water vapors with a pressure of 1.2-11 bar over an annular gap nozzle, which is attached in the head area of the filling device. The polymer particles are polypropylene, polyethylene or polystyrene and the air as a feed gas. Independent claims are included for : (1) a method for the production of foam material shaped parts from polymer foam plastic particles; and (2) a filling device for filling the polymer foam plastic particles, which comprises three concentric pipes.
