The assembly has a rotation counting electronic device (20) counting the number of rotations carried out by a movable object e.g. wheel, mounted on a rim (40) of a vehicle, around an axis. A microcontroller has registers that store counting information representing the number of rotations counted at each instant. The microcontroller is connected to a non-volatile rewritable memory e.g. electrically EPROM storing the information relative to the number of zero settings subjected to the device, where the counting information represents the number of information counted from the preset instant. An independent claim is also included for a rotation counting electronic device comprising a magnetic sensor.
