<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately match the clock precision of a receiver side with the clock precision of a transmission side. <P>SOLUTION: A receiver for receiving timing information transmitted from a transmitter 2 at a prescribed transmission interval on the basis of a reference clock includes: a timing counter 104 for counting a reception interval of the timing information on the basis of an internal clock obtained from an output of a VCXO 111; an expected value arithmetic section 107 for calculating a count, resulting from a counting a transmission interval included in the timing information by the timing counter 104 as a theoretical value in an ideal state wherein the frequency of the internal clock is coincident with the frequency of the reference clock; and an error determination section 109 for accumulating a difference between the count and the theoretical value calculated by the expected value arithmetic section 107 every time the timing counter 104 counts the reception interval and controlling the magnitude of a control voltage applied to the VCXO 111 when the cumulative added value is deviated from a prescribed threshold value range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
