<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an engine for purifying exhaust emission discharged from the engine, preventing fusion of a filter due to an engine stall. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device of an engine includes: a diesel engine; an exhaust pipe; an oxidation catalyst part provided in the exhaust pipe; the filter provided on the downstream side of the oxidation catalyst part in the exhaust pipe; a control device; and a manual regeneration switch for starting the manual regeneration of the filter. The control device does not perform the manual regeneration control of the filter even if a vehicle is stopped and the manual regeneration switch is turned on in the case where the residual quantity of fuel in a fuel tank is a preset quantity or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
