Two longitudinal ribbons (20) stretching parallel to each other in the lengthwise direction of the holding device (10) interconnect through several crosswise ribbons (22') oriented crosswise to the longitudinal ribbons, staggered lengthwise towards each other and divided into two groups. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) An air-sack module for a motor vehicle; (2) A method for producing a device for holding an air sack together folded together in a package.
