A driver air bag module is provided to reduce the number of assembling processes for the driver air bag module by inserting a retainer between an air bag cushion and a reinforcement fabric such that the retainer is formed integrally with an air bag cushion. A driver air bag module includes an air bag cover(50) arranged on a center of a steering wheel; an air bag housing(54) coupled to a rear portion of the air bag cover and accommodating an air bag cushion(52); a retainer(60) hook-coupled to the air bag cushion and the air bag housing and supporting the air bag cushion to the air bag housing; and an inflator(56) arranged in the air bag housing to supply high pressure gas to the air bag cushion. A reinforcement fabric is arranged in the air bag cushion so as to protect the air bag cushion from the gas supplied from the inflator. The retainer has a part inserted and sewn between the air bag cushion and the reinforcement fabric.
