A message management method and a mobile communication terminal are provided to improve entrance speed of a message box, thereby realizing a short entrance time of the message box. An input unit(10) is equipped. A controller(20) selects n(n is a natural number bigger than 2) messages among entire messages when the messages enter by using the input unit, and generates a message box by using the selected messages. A memory unit(30) stores the generated message box. A display(40) displays some of or a partial list among the messages of the generated message box when message indication is requested.
