The drive device has a switch, a frequency converter-power stage or static inverter, input and output controllers and a drive motor. The monitoring device determines the presence/absence of signals derived from the mains voltage (L1-L3) at the input of a frequency converter-power stage. If one or more of the signals is present the power flow to the frequency converter-power stage can be interrupted by outputting a signal to a switching device. |
