Provided is an organometallic complex which is able to efficiently emit the wavelength range of red light, be used for forming an organic film of an organic electroluminescence device, and emit white light when being used together with a green light emitting electroluminescent material or a blue light emitting electroluminescent material. The organometallic complex is represented by the formula(1), wherein M is Ir, Os, Pt, Pb, Re, Ru or PD; CyN is C3-60 heterocyclic group including N binding to M or C3-60 heteroaryl group including N binding to M; CyC is C4-60 carbon ring including C binding to M, C3-60 hetero-ring including C binding to M, C3-60 aryl including C binding to M, or C3-60 heteroaryl including C binding to M; CyN-CyC is a cyclometalating ligand which is bound to M through N and C; m1 is an integer from 0 to 2; m2 is 3-m1; A is a ligand including at least two nitrogens and bound to M through one nitrogen; X is NR0, O or S(where R0 is H, halogen, carboxyl or C1-20 alkyl); and Q is C6-50 arylene. In the organic electroluminescence device including an organic film between a pair of electrodes as a luminescent layer, the organic film includes the organometallic complex of the formula(1).
