<p>A displacement device (67) is provided in the lower region of the adjacent pallet lifting devices (4, 5) and includes a setting part (69, 70) used to connect it to the lowest pallet in the second lifting device (4) via form-fit join. The setting part is also used to direct the second lifting device to the first lifting device (5) or lowest pallet. Pallets which can be loaded with workpieces (60) can be slid sideways into the first lifting device to form a vertical stack. A transport device (58) transfers the highest pallet to the adjacent second lifting device, in which the pallets can also be stacked vertically. A programmable control device is used to regulate movement of the lifting devices and transport device.</p> |
