A locking device comprises a cup-shaped lock housing (10), which has a fixed locking pin (60) and bridges an eye (20) and a locking bolt (41). The lock housing receives a padlock (78), the shackle of which is threaded through the eye (20) and around the locking pin (60). The locking bolt (41) extends through a slit opening (50) in a partition wall (13) fixed in the housing. The locking bolt has a waist (54) that engages over the edges of the slot. One end of the slot has a widened portion (51) that allows the shank of the locking bolt to pass. The circumferential wall of the housing has an opening (70) to allow the housing to be pushed laterally over and away from the eye. |
