The positioning device comprises two upright ball-headed positioning bolts (37) on the upper plate that enter into recesses in the mounting before the guide element slides into the groove. The upper plate sits on the base (29) of the lifting frame and has a downwardly projecting block that extends into a compensating device in the base. The compensating device holds the upper plate in a horizontal position and can be actuated so that on release of the block the upper plate is positioned against the mounting by means of the bolts. The compensating device has jaws actuated by a controllable centering unit via a rotatable disc. The upper plate sits on spherical rollers in the lifting frame base.
