An electric power steering apparatus equipped with steering angle sensor is provided to sense an absolute steering angle using a directional sensor, which senses the rotating direction of a steering shaft, and a motor position sensor, which senses the rotating position of a motor shaft. An electric power steering apparatus equipped with steering angle sensor comprises a steering shaft(102) coupled to a steering wheel, a deceleration shaft(601) rotated in engagement with the steering shaft, a directional sensor(607) having a sender and a receiver, a rotary member(609) formed at one end of the deceleration shaft and installed between the sender and receiver, a motor(130) supplying steering auxiliary power, a motor position sensor(613) sensing the rotation angle of a motor shaft installed on the motor, and an electronic control unit(123) receiving electrical signals from the directional sensor and the motor position sensor and calculating a steering angle.
