A vacuum cleaner is provided to attach and detach a nano particle generator freely to/from the vacuum cleaner for omitting an additional space for installing the nano particle generator. A vacuum cleaner includes a nano particle generator(30). The nano particle generator includes a body, a suction hole(32a), a discharge hole(32b), and a heating unit. The body forms an exterior appearance. The suction hole is installed at an upper side of the body. The discharge hole is installed at a lower side of the body. A passage connects the suction hole with the discharge hole, and flows a fluid therethrough. The heating unit heats a material, and is installed at one side in the body. An extending pipe(13) is connected to a suction body(20), and includes a guide rail(15) for up and down slide of a fixing unit(40) fixing an upper part of the nano particle generator. A lower end of the guide rail is high-coupled with the suction body by a joint(16) to rotate around the joint.
