A personal computer for a vehicle is provided to enable a monitor of the personal computer to move in forward and rearward directions on a main body case and to be positioned in any direction. A personal computer for a vehicle includes an upper movable plate(21) having an upper plate rack gear(22). The upper movable plate is engaged with an upper guide damper gear(23) attached to an upper guide(24) formed integratedly with a main body case(2). A monitor(1) reciprocates as force is applied to a monitor connection panel(8), a main body connection panel(9), a ball joint(10), and the upper movable plate if force stronger than certain force is applied to the monitor.
