<p>The device is used to scrape and/or finely clean a pelt held stretched over a conical scraping bar. It involves a driven scraping tool with simultaneous rotation of the scraping bar around its longitudinal axis. The scraping tool involves an endless belt or chain tensioned over a pair of belt disks or gearwheels, of which the one is driven. On its exterior, the belt or chain has transversal teeth evenly distributed along the whole length of the belt or chain. The belt or chain locates against the pelt in the scraping bar longitudinal direction along the full length of the pelt, so that the pelt is cleanly scraped when the scraping bar is rotated one time around its axis.</p> |
