BACK LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A back light assembly and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) having the same are provided to maintain constantly the distance between a power line and a receiving side, thereby reducing the consumption power. A flat fluorescent lamp has plural discharge spaces. External electrodes are formed at horizontal both ends of the discharge spaces. A receiving container(300) comprises a bottom plate and a receiving side member extended from the edge of the bottom plate and receives the flat fluorescent lamp. A power supply substrate is arranged at the rear of the receiving container. A power line(400) is connected with the external electrodes and the power supply substrate and drawn out to the rear of the receiving container along the inside of the receiving side member. A fixing member(500) is arranged at the inside of the receiving side member and fixes the power line. The fixing member includes a support plate(510). At least a power line holder member(520) is arranged at the first surface of the support plate and fixes the power line. A hook member is protruded from the second surface opposite to the first surface.
