A prism protective film to protect a plastic prism applied to TFT-LCD and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to maintain its adhesive force regardless of temperature change and not to develop any trouble when it is unwound and to enables the film to have good electrification preventive function by itself. A prism protective film to protect a plastic prism applied to TFT-LCD comprises: a basement layer(3) including low density polyethylene and a blended material of low density polyethylene and linear low density polyethylene; and an adhesive layer(2) laminated on one side of the basement layer(3), which includes 60~80 weight% of a blended material of low density polyethylene and linear low density polyethylene, 15~40 weight% of ethylene-vinyl acetate(EVA) copolymer, and 0.5~5 weight% of ionomer or antistatic agent.
