A power train of an automatic transmission is provided to improve a gear ratio and a shift ratio by performing a seven-speed shift operation using two complex planetary gear sets. A first complex planetary gear set includes a first and second planetary gears(10,20); an input shaft connected to a second ring gear(R2) of the second planetary gear; a first ring gear(R1) connected to a second pinion gear(21); a first sun gear(S1) and a second sun gear(S2) connected to a third brake(B3); and a first pinion gear(11) connected to a second brake(B2). A second complex planetary gear set includes a third and fourth planetary gears(30,40), an output shaft(O) connected to a fourth pinion gear(41), a third and fourth sun gears(S3,S4) connected to a first brake, a third pinion gear(31) connected to a fourth brake, and the third pinion gear and a fourth ring gear(R4) connected through a second clutch(C2) to the second ring gear. A power transmission member(50) is used for connecting the first ring gear with the third ring gear. The power transmission member is connected through a first clutch(C1) to the second ring gear.
