A method for scheduling DM using a trap mechanism and a terminal thereof are provided to dynamically perform the DM by performing a DM command and transmitting required data to a DM server when a predetermined trap event is generated, and enable more than one server to perform the DM command at the same time according to generation of different trap events. The first entity(210a) receives scheduling context including the first element for pointing a message including the DM command and the second element for pointing a condition for performing the DM command according to the generation of the predetermined event from the DM server(100), and installs the received scheduling context. The second entity(210b) performs the DM command included in the message according to the condition if the predetermined event is generated. An event monitoring module(230) monitors the generation of the events and informs the second entity of the generation of the predetermined event to perform the DM command included in the message if the predetermined event is generated. |
